Recap of the Ottawa Senators' Draft

Overall, the Ottawa Senators took home eight players, which is one more than the average. The fact that half of those picks came in the first or second round is very promising. It was no 2011, but Ottawa may have managed to get some solid future pieces in here. Here's a recap of who was picked each round.
First Round
18th overall: Thomas Chabot, D, Saint John (QMJHL)

Second Round
The Sens had the Dallas Stars' pick from the Jason Spezza trade. They then traded up to use New Jersey's pick.
36th overall: Gabriel Gagne, RW, Victoriaville (QMJHL)
The Sens also had their own pick in the second round, which they used to take their third player from the Québec league in four picks
48th overall: Filip Chlapik, C, Charlottetown (QMJHL)
The Sens had no third-round pick because of the Ales Hemsky trade.
Fourth Round
As part of the Eric Gryba trade, the Sens got a fourth-round pick, 107th overall
107th overall: Christian Wolanin, Muskegon (USHL)
The Sens also still had their own pick, with which they took a player with a fantastic name:
109th overall: Filip Ahl, HV71 (SHL)
Fifth Round
139th overall: Christian Jaros, Lulea (SHL)
The Sens also had no sixth-round pick because of the Hemsky trade.
