Game 68 Preview: New York Islanders @ Ottawa Senators

These guys again?

No roster changes for the Senators skaters going into tonight’s game, but Anders Nilsson will get the start over Craig Anderson. Christian Jaros is out with a tweaked hamstring.

Game Notes

  • Poor Robin Lehner. Left Tuesday’s game after Brady Tkachuk was pushed into him, and didn’t travel with the Isles to Ottawa. No official word on his status, but the concern is obviously another concussion.
  • Almost time to make it official - it depends on some other games, but the Sens could be mathematically eliminated tonight with a regulation loss
  • On the flip side, the Islanders need the two points, and could still finish anywhere from first in the division to out of the playoffs.
  • A bit of talk about Duclair not being on the ice late in the game. He’s been playing well since coming to Ottawa, but he, along with Oscar Lindberg and Mikkel Boedker did not have a great game on Long Island./
