Weekly Question: Rookie Debuts

Which of these Sens prospects will make their NHL debut first?

The Senators have a solid base of prospects at the moment, several of which could make the jump to the NHL this season - at least as a call-up. Which of them will get to add "NHL player" to their resume first?

Fredrik Claesson

While the crowded blue line hurts his chances, it was also crowded this year and we all know how that went. Claesson could get a look since he's a stay at home defensemen, and he impressed in Bingo this past season.

Curtis Lazar

Lazar had a fantastic season with the Edmonton Oil Kings, and was a big piece of their Memorial Cup win. The major wild card when it comes to where he'll be next season is that he's not AHL eligible until 2015-16. It's either the NHL or CHL for him.

Shane Prince

Prince has a pair of solid seasons in the AHL under his belt now, which could give him a leg up on the other forwards on this list. On the flip side, he's listed at LW along with NINE other players currently signed.

Ryan Dzingel

After being the best player on his NCAA team for the past several years Dzingel continued that success in the AHL, though admittedly only in a small number of games. That lack of experience could hold him back in the short term.
