Ups and Downs: Bingo Edition - November
In the November edition of Ups and Downs: Bingo Edition, we look at who is helping the BSens climb out of the Eastern Conference basement
After a less than stellar October and a slow start to November, the Binghamton Senators came on strong with a streak of solid performances at the end of the month. They finished the month with a 6-4-1 record and have climbed into 10th spot in the Eastern Conference and only three points out of a playoff spot.
Biggest Gains: Shane Prince
Prince was named AHL's player of the week to finish off November, and he was very deserving of that award by scoring five goals and one assist in three games. He finished the month with seven goals and five assists, which brought him to 17 points in 18 games on the season. The numbers haven't lied, Prince has had an incredible month. He works hard for loose pucks and he is always looking for a way to get the puck on net. He is currently on a seven game point streak and hopefully that streak doesn't end any time soon.
Biggest Losses: Mike Sdao
He missed a few games at the start of the month with an illness. He has been a healthy scratch on numerous occasions and he hasn't shown much to show that he deserves a spot in the very limited chances he has had. He usually plays alongside Chris Wideman and faces less competition on the bottom pairing, but they still get pinned in their own end chasing the puck. Hopefully Sdao can have a bounce-back month in December.

| Fredrik Claesson |  | Continues to play big minutes against top competition. He hasn't had as much offensive success as last year, but he did have a strong shutdown month. |
| Alex Grant |  | Inconsistent and very little production in the offensive zone. He ranks last on the team with a -5. |
| Aaron Johnson | | The captain doesn't play with a lot of flash, but plays solid in a middle pairing role. He has the best plus/minus on the team and fourth best in the league with +13. |
| Patrick Mullen | | Has some troubles in the defensive zone, but he makes up for it with some quality puck moving in the offensive zone. |

| Chris Wideman | | He continues to be a point per game player and has excellent vision in the offensive zone. He has a knack of finding a way to get the puck to the back of the net. He is ranked third in the league in points. |
| Forwards | ||
| Carter Camper | | After a forgettable October, Camper had a much better month. He scored one goal and six assists in 11 games. Camper has had some good chemistry playing with Shane Prince recently. |
| Ryan Dzingel | | He plays a very volatile game. One game, he looks outstanding out there, and the next he looks invisible. He has been getting some looks on the top line alongside Pageau and has looked good in that role. |
| David Dziurzynski | | He has been moved down the lineup to the fourth line. He ended the month with a goal in back to back games, but hasn't done much offensively. He has struggled a few times to get the puck out of his own end. |
| Derek Grant | | Plays the same role he always has. He is very reliable in the defensive zone and is a solid penalty killer. Only chipped in three goals and an assist in the month, but he leads all Binghamton forwards and is 19th in the league in plus/minus. |
| Alex Guptill | | He has found himself bouncing in and out of the lineup and up and down the lines. He scored a pair of game winning goals this month, but hasn't done much else to try and solidify his spot in the lineup. |
| Darren Kramer | | Four fights in November, and does a serviceable job in his role. |
| Max McCormick | | He was injured back in October and missed some time at the start of this month. Scored his first two pro goals in his first game back on November 14th against the Norfolk Admirals. He plays a physical style of hockey in a fourth line role. |
| Jean-Gabriel Pageau | | Pageau really continues to be one of the best out there on a consistent basis. Chipped in with four goals and four assists this month. He also leads the AHL with 79 shots on net. |

| Matt Puempel | | Recently has been playing alongside Derek Grant. He has a great shot and has started to use it more often. He now ranks 15th in the league in shots on goal. He recorded four goals and four assists in the month. |
| Buddy Robinson | | After a very strong October, he was only able to produce four assists in 11 games in November. He has great speed, but he does fall short of expectations by not producing at the rate expected of him. |
| Cole Schneider | | It was an excellent November for Schneider, scoring three goals and seven assists in the month. Recently, he has been rewarded with top line minutes alongside Pageau and has looked good in the role. |
| Garrett Thompson | | He tends to just float out there on some shifts. After being a healthy scratch for three straight games, he came back with some fire to score a goal in his first game back, but he has tailed off since |
