Staff Changes at Silver Seven

We usually try to keep the focus of our posts here at Silver Seven on hockey and the Ottawa Senators but sometimes we've got to make some administrative announcements and this is one such occasion.

It's my duty to inform you that Mark Parisi has decided to step aside as a writer and site manager at Silver Seven. Mark's been an integral part of the community for most of its existence and has devoted countless hours to the site. He has been one of the community's most distinct voices and his body of work is prolific. I will be taking the reins from Mark as site manager. I have also taken over the @silversevensens twitter account from Peter. Mark and Peter cast a long shadow because of their excellent writing and hard work building this community. I will strive to live up to the high standards set by my predecessors.

Mark isn't the only departing staff member as Ryan has also announced he is also moving on from his position. But we won't be shorthanded. Ary, known on Silver Seven as critias and on twitter as @carteciel, will be joining our staff as a writer.

Please join me in thanking Mark and Ryan for their hard work and friendship over the years and extend a warm welcome to Ary!
