Silver Nuggets: Senators officially eliminated; Anderson/Lehner get shutouts; Karlsson enjoying ice time
The Ottawa Senators were officially eliminated from playoff contention Friday night after a 4-2 win by the Buffalo Sabres over the Florida Panthers. The Senators did manage to win 2-0 against the Washington Capitals, previously winners of 11 out of 12. The game before, they ended a 5 game winning streak by the New York Rangers and last week beat the seemingly unstoppable New Jersey Devils.
The Senators don't play today, but play on Sunday afternoon against the Atlanta Thrashers. Daniel Alfredsson, son of Hasse, King of Ottawa, Defender of the Senators, may God bless him, is expected to travel with the team.

- Craig Anderson wasn't the only player in the organisation to get a shutout last night. Robin Lehner returned from injury to make 31 saves in a 3-0 shutout win against the AHL's top club. Anderson also made 31 saves. (Pressconnects.com)
