Silver Nuggets: Senators home streak ends at two; Spezza teaches new linemates; Ovechkin and Omark score spectacular goals
The Ottawa Senators dropped a 1-0 decision to the Boston Bruins last night. It was the 7th time the Senators were shutout this season, and the 22nd time they scored one goal or less.
If the Senators win their remaining games, they will end with a total of 89 points. Last year's Montreal Canadiens have the lowest total for a post-lockout playoff team with 88.
On the bright side, Craig Anderson has allowed one goal or less in four of his five starts for Ottawa. Only on the Ottawa Senators could a goalie be 3-2-0 with a 1.19 goals against average and a .960 save percentage.

- Erik Condra and Colin Greening are both seventh round draft picks that have made it to the NHL. Meanwhile, Erik Karlsson is -32 for the season and on pace for -42. The lowest number since 2000 has been -46. Poor Erik. :( Also, Don Brennan seems to think Chris Neil deserves the "A" more than Sergei Gonchar. (Sun)
