Silver Nuggets: Senators call up Stéphane Da Costa

With Zack Smith and Kaspars Daugavins getting injured in the victory over San Jose last night, the Senators were potentially down a forward even with Andre Petersson waiting. To remedy that situation, they have recalled Stéphane Da Costa from Binghamton today. Da Costa has done very well in his time in the AHL scoring 9 goals along with 10 assists for 19 points in 21 games.

According to Steve Lloyd, Petersson might be given a chance with Jason Spezza. That would be quite a chance for the kid in his NHL debut wouldn't it? If that is indeed the case, we might see the lines be something like Petersson-Spezza-Michalek, Condra-Turris-Alfredsson, Greening-Da Costa-Foligno, Neil-Konopka-Butler.

How would you like the lines to be if Smith and Daugavins can't go? We should get an update at 4 p.m. when the Senators practise.
