Silver Nuggets: King Lehner makes home debut; Our Swedes versus theirs
The Ottawa Senators take on the Detroit Red Wings and get a good look at the Swedish powerhouse we hope to become. This game will feature eight Swedes, three from Ottawa (Daniel Alfredsson, Erik Karlsson and Robin Lehner) and five from Detroit (Jonathon Ericsson, Johan Franzen, Niklas Kronwall, Nicklas Lidstrom and Henrik Zetterberg). Another Swede, Tomas Holmstrom is injured. With only seven Americans in this game, we might as well get Lyndon Slewidge to sing Du gamla, Du fria instead of the American anthem.

- As mentioned in the headline, Robin Lehner gets the start tonight. It is too bad his first home game is against the Red Wings, but he could always steal one I suppose. The high flying Red Wings, on national television on TSN, it is the big stage for Robin! (Citizen)
