Silver Nuggets: Fisher doesn't make Canada, six Senators heading to Olympics

Today's Ottawa Senators headlines feature a whole whack of Olympics news items, plus some other stuff. Here goes:

  • In the World Juniors, Jared Cowen has an assist now, and on the Swedish team Jakob Silfverberg has two points (1G, 1A), and Andre Petersson is lighting it up with 4G and 2A in 3GP.
  • Down in Binghamton, Keller and Martin St. Pierre were selected for the AHL All-Star Game. I will note, two forwards, both off-season acquisitions by Bryan Murray. (Sharp)
  • UPDATE: And the B-Sens recalled CHRIS HOLT!, although it's unclear how they're going to make room for him with Andy Chiodo and Mike Brodeur both still in the lineup. (Sharp)
  • UPDATE: Back to the Olympics: Strange and worth noting that former Senator Christoph Schubert has apparently been left off the German team. (FTR)
