Silver Nuggets: Benoit and Greening called up; More trade rumours
The Ottawa Senators try to break a nine game home losing streak tomorrow night against Chris Kelly and the Boston Bruins. With Bobby Butler, Jesse Winchester, Zack Smith, Erik Condra along with call-ups Andre Benoit (who?) and Colin Greening in the lineup, the Senators will field half a lineup of minor leaguers. Since only one defenceman was called up, this means Matt Carkner should be ready to go.
With the recent trades, the Senators have a total of three forwards under contract for next year that have ever shattered the thirty five point mark in their career. These brave players are Daniel Alfredsson, Jason Spezza and Milan Michalek.
