Senators Sign Gabriel Gagné to Entry Level Contract

The Ottawa Senators have signed the 19-year-old to a three-year deal.

The offseason may technically be over, with the start of training camp on Thursday, but Pierre Dorion’s work is never done.

Earlier today, the Ottawa Senators signed 19-year-old prospect Gabriel Gagné to a three-year entry-level contract.

His contract has a cap hit of $742,500 with the possibility of bonuses for games played.

The 6’5”, 185 pound forward had an impressive 2015-16 season, recording 22 points in 21 games during the playoffs for the Shawinigan Cataractes.

Once Gagné turns 20 on November 11, he can play for Binghamton in the AHL.
