Senators Re-sign Mike Hoffman
Ottawa has signed RFA Mike Hoffman to a one-year deal
Mixed into this morning's discussion of Jason Spezza and Milan Michalek, the Senators announced that they have re-signed RFA forward Mike Hoffman.
#Sens AGM Pierre Dorion tells the media that Mike Hoffman has agreed to terms on a one-year, two-way contract.

The two-way deal is interesting, given Hoffman got an extended look at the end of the season and the Sens have committed one-way deals to relatively untested young players before (Brian Lee, Mark Borowiecki come to mind). However, since Hoffman is waiver-eligible, he's not likely to end up back in the AHL. It will be interesting to watch him compete for a top-6 spot this fall.
