Senators Name Brad Lauer Assistant Coach

The Ottawa Senators announced today that former NHLer Brad Lauer has joined the organization as assistant coach. Lauer joins head coach Cory Clouston, assistant coach Greg Carvel, video coach Tim Pattyson, and goaltending coach Eli Wilson.

Lauer played 30 games for the Ottawa Senators in the 1993-94 season. Since retiring as a player in 2001-02, Lauer has kept himself busy as an assistant coach, first in the WHL with the Kootenay Ice, and more recently with the Milwaukee Admirals of the AHL.

The Senators also announced that Dom Nicoletta has joined the team as assistant athletic therapist, and, as we have previously reported, Chris Schwarz is now the team's strength & conditioning coach.
