Senators by the Numbers: #62

A look at all the players who have worn #62 for the Senators.

Eric Gryba D 2012-2013, 2013-2014

Born in Saskatoon in 1988, Gryba was drafted 68th overall by the Ottawa Senators in the 2006 NHL Draft. Before turning pro, Gryba spent four years in college playing for Boston University, winning an NCAA title. When his college career ended, Gryba joined the Binghamton Senators for six games in 2010. He spent all of 2010-2011 and 2011-2012 with Bingo. During the lockout shortened season of 2012-2013, Gryba began the season in Bingo. However, because of Ottawa's injury problems, he was recalled by the big club in February and has been in the NHL since then. Gryba struggled in his first NHL season, but was improved in 2013-2014. Gryba has also started a company, Capital Waterfowling, which sells acrylic duck calls.
