Senators Bring Back Klimchuk

The Ottawa Senators have signed Morgan Klimchuk to a one-year, two-way contract.

The Ottawa Senators announced the signing of Morgan Klimchuk to a one-year, two-way deal today.

Klimchuk, acquired by the Senators in January in exchange for Gabriel Gagne, suited up for Belleville for only eight games before experiencing a season ending shoulder injury. He scored four goals and an assist in those eight games for the BSens.

The Regina, Saskatchewan native has previously cracked the 40 point mark twice in his AHL career and, at 24 years of age, could be considered an injury replacement or depth player at the NHL level. Klimchuk will look to lead the BSens both on and off the ice next season with an eye on the NHL roster in the future.
