Pre-season game 1: Ottawa Senators @ Toronto Maple Leafs
The Ottawa Senators will open their pre-season schedule tonight against their provincial rivals, the Toronto Maple Leafs. With on-ice training camp opening only on Saturday, there might be some rust visible. But, some of the rookies taking part have been going at it for a while, so they might be a bit more ready. Pre-season or not, it's a Sens/Leafs game, so we'll all want to win this one.
According to Brent Wallace here are the lines:
Forwards
Nikita Filatov - Peter Regin - Bobby Butler
Milan Michalek - Mika Zibanejad - Mark Stone
Colin Greening - Zack Smith - Chris Neil
Mike Hoffman - Zenon Konopka - Francis Lessard
Defencemen
Filip Kuba - Erik Karlsson
Jared Cowen - David Rundblad
Patrick Wiercioch - Tim Conboy
Goaltenders
Alex Auld (first half)
Robin Lehner (second half)
James Mirtle reports the Leafs lines as: Forwards - MacArthur - Grabovski - Kulemin, Kadri - Bozak - Armstrong, Crabb - Colborne - Frattin, Rosehill - Dupuis - Ryan, Defencemen - Phaneuf - Aulie, Gardiner - Liles, Lashoff - Gunnarsson, Goaltenders - Gustavsson - Scrivens
While the game isn't on TV in Ottawa, if you are in the Leafs broadcast region it will be available on Leafs TV and streamed on mapleleafs.nhl.com. Otherwise, it will be streamed on Team 1200.
GO SENS GO!
