Ottawa Senators selected C/RW Tobias Lindberg at 102 overall

The Ottawa Senators picked another Swede with one of their fourth-round picks, choosing Tobias Lindberg from Djurgården 102 overall.

Guys, GUYS: You'll never guess!

The Ottawa Senators drafted another Swede!

With their first fourth-round selection of the 2013 NHL Entry Draft, the Ottawa Senators selected Tobias Lindberg from Djurgårdens IF Hockey of HockeyAllsvenskan. Lindberg spent time with the U18, U20, and pro teams from Djurgården, so it bodes well that he's already played a few games (five, to be exact) against men much his senior. Lindberg checks in at 6'2" and 187 pounds.

This pick came to Ottawa along with Cory Conacher in the trade that sent Ben Bishop to the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Hard to know from these stats, but Lindberg represents another decently-sized Swedish forward for the Senators to add to their prospect cupboards. He'll also likely take a few years in Sweden before heading to North America, but he's further added to the population of Ottawa's Little Swedentown.
