Game 57: Binghamton 4, Wilkes-Barre/Scranton 2 (Feb. 23, 2011, Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena)
Seven wins in a row and Binghamton was able to get it by defeating the AHL's best team! Outshot 48-16, Binghamton's goal scorers were Kaspars Daugavins, Eric Gryba, Ryan Keller, and Andrew Sweetland. Barry Brust had another fantastic game, making 47 saves! And did I mention this was against the team with the most points in the AHL?

Brust had a fantastic game, making 47 saves. Just don't tell that to head coach Kurt Kleinendorst, who went up to the press up and argued that they got the number of shots against wrong.

Cowick's been spending most of the year down in Elmira, but he's been tearing it up recently and was given a shot in the AHL. He had a two point night, both points assists to Eric Gryba and Andrew Sweetland goals, and was +2.

A theme with Binghamton is whenever a player gets called up, someone steps up. And Ryan Keller has done that. He recorded two points (1G, 1A)
Game 58: Binghamton 7, Albany 4 (Feb. 25, 2011, Onondaga County War Memorial at Oncenter)
Binghamton came back with five (5!) unanswered goals in the third! Ryan Keller had a hat trick, and Andre Benoit, Ben Gordon, Craig Schira, Brad Snetsinger were the other goal scorers for Binghamton. Barry Brust made 19 saves off 23 shots, but that didn't hurt Binghamton as they won their eighth game in a row!

Making the best of an opportunity
Both PTOs, Ben Gordon and Brad Snetsinger scored their first goals tonight. Both players weren't picked from Elmira, as Kurt Kleinendorst scouted the players himself.

Game 59: Rochester 3, Binghamton 2 (SO) (Feb. 25, 2011, Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena)
The winning streak maybe over, but the point streak still lives. Binghamton has been awarded a point in 11 consecutive games and is holding a short lead in 4th place of the East Division. Pascal Leclaire played his first AHL game since April 28, 2006, and made 30 saves. Corey Cowick and Andrew Sweetland were the goal scorers for Binghamton, Cowick's being his first AHL goal, and Sweetland scoring against his former AHL team. With the game going to shootout, Binghamton remains unbeaten in regulation in 11 games, having earned a possible 20 out of 22 points.

Game 60: Adirondack 5, Binghamton 2 (Feb. 26, 2011, Glens Falls Civic Center)
The the streak is now done as Binghamtom fell to Adirondack, 5-2. Ryan Keller and Roman Wick were Binghamton's only goal scorers. Goalie Garrett Zemlak was signed off a PTO and made his first AHL start, stopping 24 of 28 shots. Former Binghamton captain Denis Hamel scored the fifth goal, an empty netter, with 2.2 seconds left!

New head coach Robbie Nichols got his first win in his ECHL debut. Elmira scored three unanswered goals to take the lead, and held on to it to start off their three day home-stand.

Game 51: Elmira 5, Reading 4 (Feb. 18, 2011, First Arena)
In front of the second-largest hometown crowd in team history, Elmira staged a huge comeback win against rival Reading. Elmira scored three unanswered goals to get the win, two of them from Justin Donati, and Robbie Nichols improves to 2-0.

Elmira completes the sweep off the backs of forwards Yannick Tifu and Justin Donati, who both scored four points. The win puts Elmira back into the playoff hunt.
