Game 42: Albany 3, Binghamton 2 (Jan. 14, 2011, Times Union Center)
Very physical game tonight in Albany, where both teams were fighting for points at the half-way mark. Fans of penalties and power plays got their fix with a total of 18 penalties called and 54 minutes served. Binghamton at one time had three skaters in the box. Albany was able to hold Binghamton to only two goals, both scored in the second, and was able to get a single goal in all three periods. Binghamton was just two goals away from winning their fifth in a row for the first time in three years.
BSens Hero: Erik Condra
With Bobby Butler adjusting to the 80-game schuelde of pro level, Erik Condra has taken over as the top right winger. He had one goal tonight, off three shots.
BSens Hero: Mike Brodeur
Made 26 saves, and allowed three goals. He hasn't seemed to find his game since coming back from the injury he suffered in the first game of the season, and while he did lose the game, those goals weren't all his fault.

Game 43: Manchester 4, Binghamton 3 (Jan. 15, 2011, Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena)
It was Star Wars night at the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena, and what a close game it was. The first period was a very psychical one, coming to a head when Roman Wick was taken down into the boards by Colten Teubert: Eric Gryba immediately challenged Teubert, the hitter, and two fought. Gryba was the winner, but it was a decent fight. Binghamton keep was able to hold the lead at the end of the second, at 3-2, but the Manchester Monarchs would rally in the third with two unanswered goals.
BSens Luke Skywalker: Bobby Butler
The force is back with the Bustler, who scored Binghamton's final goal in the second. It was his only point of the game, and his 19th of the season. He still leads rookies in goals in the AHL.
BSens Obi-Wan Kenobi: Ryan Keller
The captain had eight shots on the goal tonight, but lucky for him, he scored a goal. His 14th of the season was Binghamton's first goal of the night, and the team followed his free-shooting ways as they had 41 shots.
BSens Death Star: Robin Lehner
Made 22 saves off 26 shots, and looked awful. His glove wasn't there, and his positioning was bad. It's a good thing Manchester didn't have any more shots, because Lehner was a nightmare out there.

Game 44: Binghamton 2, Hershey 1 (Jan. 16, 2011, Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena)
The Seattle Seahawks got off to... oh wait, wrong game. But this was one rough game. Both teams got on the board in the first, and from there it was goalie battle, with Barry Brust taking the decision. Binghamton would get the win, with both goalies facing about 30 shots.
BSens Hero: Barry Brust
Brust had 29 saves tonight, but the most impressive stat was his 12 PIMs. Brust was credited with a roughing penalty and a misconduct for continuing the altercation. Boyd Kane was hacking at Brust when clearly had the puck in his glove, so Kane--already unpopular for boarding David Hale--and Brust began a shoving match.
BSens Hero: Ryan Keller
The captain got the game-winning-goal, and it being thunder stick night, got the crowd into it. Not as much as Brust's roughing call, but still in the game. It would be the captain's second goal in as many nights.
BSens Hero: Andrew Sweetland
If you been to Ottawa's Hockey Future's prospect page, you'll see Sweetland as one of the prospects. He's been playing in Elmira for the first half of the year, but with Corey Locke in Ottawa, was signed to Binghamton. He scored a point in his first game for the B-Sens, not a bad start.

Game 35: Elmira 2, Toledo 1 (Jan. 12, 2011, Huntington Center)
Goalie showdown in Toledo tonight with both goalies making close to 30 saves. Elmira scored in the first and held to lead into the second, where Toledo tied it. The tie ended in the third with a goal from defensemen, Patrick Coulombe.
Game 36: Elmira 4, Trenton 3 (Jan. 14, 2011, Sun National Bank Center)
Another late-game comeback for Elmira. After Trenton got on the board first, Elmira scored two unanswered goals to take the lead. After Trenton tied the game in the second, Elmira again scored two unanswered goals, to take (and keep) the lead. Trenton tied to come back with a late third period goal, but Elmira would hold on to the lead.
Game 37: Elmira 6, Reading 3 (Jan. 15, 2011, First Arena)
The Jackals won their third straight game against the Royals. The Jackals scored three before Reading answered with one, but the Elmira got another three to make it 6-1. Reading's Ben Gordon scored two late goals, but Elmira would take the game and beat their division rival.
Game 38: Toledo 6, Elmira 5 (Jan. 16, 2011, First Arena)
Seesaw battle at the First Arena, with both teams giving the sellout crowd a show. Toledo held a 2-0 edge in the second, but Elmira notched a couple of their own to tie the game. Both teams scored again to tie it at three, and traded goals until Toledo scored the game's 11th goal and held on to the lead.
