Open Thread: The Morning After

An open thread to discuss the Senators season fortunes

With one foot in the grave before Wednesday night's game, in some ways it matters little which team finished the job. That it was the injury-depleted 26th place New York Islanders, with 10 rookies in the line-up, on the second night of a back-to-back, makes it a little harder to swallow. This is an open thread to discuss the Ottawa Senators regular season fortunes and where the team goes from here.

Things to consider:

  • What to do with Ottawa's 2015 UFAs
  • Team discipline
  • How to improve the team's defensive play
  • What frustrated you the most?
  • What was the biggest disappointment this season? The biggest surprise?
  • Why are the Sens giving up so many goals against?
  • What's your season highlight?
  • Will Ottawa's goaltenders rebound from poor performances in 2013-2014
  • Can Sens fans expect the same kind of offensive production next season?
  • Ideal line-ups going forward
