One step closer
Here we are, nearing the end to the most awaited moment of the season. The Stanley Cup is getting ready to make its way with only 4 teams left to compete. There are the usual favourites like the Tampa Bay Lightning and the circus team Vegas Golden Knights but it’s all about how the underdogs perform under the pressure. There are so many good stories ranging from our very own Pageau and the always clutch Jordan Eberle to Price’s redemption season and who can forget Steven Stamkos who has a ring for a championship he had to mostly watch from the sidelines. Let the battle begin...
Thursday’s Game
Colorado Avalanche 3, Las Vegas Golden Knights 6 (VGK wins series in 4-2)
The result was not a surprise by any means, especially after Game 3 where it seemed like the Avalanche were not going to get their game back together. Were the Golden Knights too good for them? Personally, I just think they Avs got into a flunk just in time for the Knights to capitalize. The top line just disappeared and the goalie can only do much when the opposing goalie is just as good if not better. I doubt major changes will come out of this loss but I don’t think many will take kindly to Nazem Kadri once again putting his team in a tough position getting himself suspended.
Today’s Game
New York Islanders @ Tampa Bay Lightning - 3:00 pm EST (series tied 0-0)
