Open Thread: France vs. Canada

An open thread to discuss Friday's game between France and Canada at the 2014 Men's World Championship.

The Men's World Championships get underway today in Minsk, Belarus today. Canada gets underway this morning, taking on France, giving Sens fans their first chance of the tournament to see Kyle Turris and Marc Methot dawn the Maple Leaf.

France vs. Canada, 9:45 am, TSN (9:30 am)

Switzerland vs. Russia, 9:45 am

Slovakia vs. Czech Republic, 1:45 pm

Belarus vs. United States, 1:45 pm, TSN (1:30)
