Mark Stone Injury Confirmed

After much speculation in broadcast and among fans of both teams, Stone's wrist injury was confirmed by team officials this morning.

The first round series between the Ottawa Senators and Montreal Canadiens got heated early when midway through the second period of game 1, P.K. Subban slashed Mark Stone on the wrist. Subban was assessed a five minute penalty and game misconduct, and Mark Stone was in and out of the game for the remainder of the night favouring his wrist.

The Senators have updated his injury status and it's not good.

What does that mean? Let's ask a doctor:

If Stone plays game 2 and how much of an impact he'll have is anyone's guess.

Should Subban have been suspended for his slash on Stone?
