It's the weekend Game Day Thread!

The Binghamton Senators are on an 8-game win streak, and while I don't know where that has them in current AHL win streak standings, it's good for number one in my heart. They've been able to win based on the strong play of goalies Robin Lehner and Ben Bishop, though Bishop had a little meltdown against the Adirondack Phantoms last week--he high-sticked a guy in the throat. Drago would be proud.
Anyway, on Friday, the B-Sens play the Portland Pirates. I hate these guys. They're the AHL affiliate of the Phoenix Arizona Coyotes, which means they're stacked on defense. Look for future studs Oliver Ekman-Larsson (#23), Brandon Gormley (#36), and some jerk named David Rundblad (#2). The last game I remember, OEL and Runblad ran the power play right down Bingo's throats. Oh, and they have some guy named Rob Klinkhammer. Remember him? STOP! KLINKHAMMER TIME! Saturday, the good guys in black (yeah) take on the Norfolk Admirals. I hate these guys. Last year they set a huge winning-streak record at 28 games (!) but that team is now playing in another city. This team is not as good, though they do have future stars Emerson Etem and Hampus Lindholm, who I was hoping Ottawa would draft recently. They also have Silver Seven favorite ROD PELLEY, who simply should never be left open even though he's only played in five games.
Anyway, this is where you should be getting your hockey fix. Come hang out with us! It would be so nice if you did.
