GDT: Binghamton Senators at Adirondack Phantoms

You asked for it, you've got it.

Well, the Binghamton Senators play just once this week, and tonight is that game. Their opponents are the Adirondack Phantoms. I hate these guys. The Phantoms are buried in the middle of the pack of the Eastern Conference, which is surprising given that they have Brayden Schenn and Sean Couturier on the roster. That's right, the Phantoms are the farm team for the thuggish Philadelphia Flyers.

Binghamton hasn't lost in forever, and is in position to close out the month strong. Defensman Tyler Ekford is strangely leading the team in points with a 5-5-10 line, but good news: Just behind him is golden boy Jakob Silfverberg with three goals and six assists of his own. Boo yah. Jared Cowen is out for the year with a hip injury and Patrick Weiricoch is looking good, though team captain Andre Benoit remains the team's most consistent defender, and the only decent threat on a woefully anemic power play. And Mark Stone is ugly. Facially.

Enjoy the game!
