The Senators have lost their last two games, and are about to head out on a five game road trip. Seeing as their record on the road leaves quite a lot to be desired (6-11-1), tonight's game is very important. The Sens are 5-5-0 in their last ten, while the Panthers are 4-6-0.

The Senators are, of course, missing a number of key players -- their former top line of Jason Spezza, Milan Michalek and Daniel Alfredsson is now sitting off nursing injuries. Recalled from the AHL are Zach Smith and Martin St. Pierre. Shean Donovan and Alex Picard sit, while Chris Campoli swings back into the line up on the blue line. Brian Elliott starts in goal.
