Game 30: Ottawa Senators v. New York Rangers

The Ottawa Senators hit the 30-game mark tonight as they take on the New York Rangers for the second time in less than a week. Last time the Sens won 3-1 on the back of a Chris Kelly hat trick, but will their third-line all-star be able to pull off the feat again? If not, where will the goal scoring come from?

Some things I'll look for tonight:

  • Jason Spezza: Ended an extended pointless streak last game in style, with an embarassing deke around Roman Hamrlik. Is it the beginning of a Sidney Crosby-esque point-scoring streak? Please please please...
  • Alex Kovalev: Relegated to the fourth line in practice yesterday; will he stay there tonight?
  • Peter Regin: Has to draw in after missing the last two games. Will he return jaded, or with a purpose? And who will he play with?
  • Filip Kuba: Chief among the goats from the Senators' loss last game, how will Kuba respond?
  • Marian Gaborik: With no points in his last two games, you've got to think Gaborik will break out. Will he tonight?

As always, join us right here for some in-game entertainment. It makes wins more fun, and losses at least tolerable!
