Game 19 Preview & Open Thread: Philadelphia Flyers @ Ottawa Senators

The Senators are back in Ottawa for just their third home game in the month of Roadvember, fresh off a well earned comeback win in New Jersey.

Logan Brown is off injured reserve and ready to draw back in, while Bobby Ryan has earned his way out of the press box. J.C. Beaudin and Jonathan Davidsson were sent down to Belleville yesterday. Anders Nilsson gets the start, while Craig Anderson presumably gets the nod tomorrow night in Buffalo.

Game Notes

• Last game I mentioned that Jean-Gabriel Pageau’s point streak ended, and he went out and got a hat trick, so let’s try this again - Brady Tkachuk had his three game point streak snapped on Wednesday night
• Speaking of Pageau, he’s currently in a 4-way tie for 8th in league goals.
• The Flyers are coming in close to red hot, with a seven game point streak - despite a terrible shooting percentage in that stretch
• Tank watch: Ottawa is still only a single point up on last place, thanks to wins by LA and Minnesota last night
• Something has to give with the power play. They went an entire two minute PP without a single shot attempt against New Jersey
