Game 12: Ottawa Senators @ Toronto Maple Leafs
Are you stoked for tonight's game? Because I'm stoked for tonight's game. I'm hoping my excitement doesn't fade quickly with an early-game Chris Phillips giveaway resulting in an easy Leafs goal, but let's just hope that doesn't happen tonight.
Some tidbits I'll be watching for tonight:
- Will anyone score: The Leafs have been shut out in their last two games. Ottawa was shutout last game. At least one of those streaks has to end.
- Goaltending duel: It will be Brian Elliott against Jean-Sebastien Giguere. Who will come out on top?
- Ugly streak: Ottawa has lost five straight against Toronto. Will that end tonight?
- Fisticuffs: Will Matt Carkner fight Colton Orr? Will Zack Smith or Chris Neil engage in any fights?
- Sens killer: Will Phil Kessel add to his 7G and 2A in 6GP against the Sens as a Leaf?
- Injury watch: Daniel Alfredsson is a game-time decision. Pascal Leclaire will be on the bench, hopefully wearing his goalie mask.
- Big Lee-guer: Should Alfredsson be unable to play, expect Brian Lee to step in to the lineup as a forward again tonight. Will he get more than 90 seconds of ice time?
Game time is 7 p.m. Join us here for in-game joy or lament.
