Elliott tops NHL's 3 Stars
The NHL named its three stars of the past week, and Brian Elliott was at the top of the list. Elliott went 4-0-0 for the week, allowing just five goals on 115 shots in four games, posting a .956 SV%. The week included a game against the high-scoring Chicago Blackhawks and two games against Boston, who have dominated the Senators in recent memory.
The other winners were Craig Anderson and Sidney Crosby. Daniel Alfredsson, who put up four goals and two assists on the week, was not recognized with a star or honourable mention.
