Report: Sens CMO Aimee Deziel Leaves Organization

The Chief Marketing Officer had been with the team for just over a year

A report circulated late Thursday night that Aimee Deziel, the Chief Marketing Officer for the Ottawa Senators, has left the organization:

The reasons behind her rumoured departure are not known at this time.

Deziel potentially joins an ever-growing list of executives that have left in recent years, most after only brief tenures. Remember that Deziel was named CMO just barely more than a year ago.

In her brief time in the role, Deziel made a concerted effort to connect with Sens fans and was more than willing to sit down with the media and explain the team’s plans; something that has at times been sorely lacking in other facets of the organization.
