Randy Lee Resigns

Belleville Senators GM and Ottawa Senators Assistant GM Randy Lee has resigned from the team.

The Ottawa Senators announced today that Randy Lee has resigned as Assistant General Manager.

On June 2nd, Lee was arrested and charged with harassment in relation to an incident with a 19 year-old male hotel shuttle driver in Buffalo, NY. Lee was in Buffalo to attend the NHL Draft Combine at the time. He was suspended by the team later that month.

Lee released a public statement of his own.

The search for a replacement will begin immediately.
