Senators Trade Down, Select Jacob Bernard-Docker 26th Overall

Pierre Dorion made his second selection of the first round, choosing defenceman Jacob Bernard-Docker with the 26th overall pick.

Bernard-Docker has spent the past two seasons playing for the Okotoks Oilers of the AJHL. The Canmore, Alberta native produced 20 goals and 21 assists in 49 games this past season. He’s slated to join the University of North Dakota in the fall.

Bob McKenzie had Bernard-Docker ranked 46th in this year’s rankings.

Welcome to the Senators, Jacob!
