Silver Seven Sens Playoff Bracket 2018: Round 3 Results
A winner is crowned... sort of
I think it’s fair to say we’re in uncharted territory here. A Capitals-Golden Knights final was not what anyone predicted. Well, almost anyone, but we’ll get to that in a minute. Of the 91 (legit) brackets received, six had the Caps in the Stanley Cup Finals, four had the Knights. One had the Caps winning it all, one had Vegas. So after that miserable reflection on our prognosticating abilities, here’s where we stand after three rounds:

Incredibly, Clara SJ predicted a Vegas/Washington final, with Washington taking it all home. That’s such a terrifyingly accurate prediction, I actually went back to make sure this wasn’t just someone having hacked my computer to rig the competition in their favour. But no, this one was submitted before the deadline, completely legitimately. The only other person whose Cup winner is left is Carson free agent, but they had the Maple Leafs making the final, and there’s no way to make up the difference and take the crown. No, Clara SJ has this one firmly in the bag.
