Cost Per Pointcast Ep. 17: Expansion Draft with Matt Cane

Matt Cane joins the show to preview the expansion draft and free agency. Who will be on the move come Wednesday: Methot? Claesson? Or could it even be Borowiecki...?

It was killing me that I could not record an episode of the Cost Per Pointcast after the second round of the playoffs as I was away in Europe, but I’m happy to be back for Episode 17. This talk features Hockey Graphs/Winner’s View writer Matt Cane, and we preview the expansion draft and how Ottawa looks going into it.

Topics include:

-Drafting who we’d most want the Senators to keep

-Potentially trading a pick to keep Marc Methot

-Who Vegas could actually take

-Possible free agent options

-Predictions on what Pierre Dorion will do in the summer

So take a listen!

If you’re interested, I will be recording another episode after the draft and I will be recapping their picks as well as any trades that occur.

But anyways, here’s Episode Filip Kuba:
