Sterling Predictions: Goals

Who will lead the team in goal scoring?

This afternoon’s question is also very straight-forward: Who will lead the Senators in goals this season, and with how many? The answer has been Mike Hoffman for the last two seasons; will any of the staff think differently?

Colin: Mike Hoffman is without a doubt Ottawa's best shooting talent, and he finally reaches the 30 goal mark with 32.

Callum:  If he wants it, Mike Hoffman has the ability to score 40. I'll go with 35 for the sharp shooter this season.

Trevor:  Mike Hoffman, no question. He'll finally hit the 30-goal mark exactly. He's easily the best scoring threat on this team.

Spencer: This is the year, folks. This is the year Mike Hoffman becomes a 30 goal player. He'll score 31.

Ross: The homogeneity scares me. Boucher’s team was a score by committee team last year, and I don’t see that changing. I’m gonna predict Kyle Turris leads this team with 27 goals.

Ary: Mike Hoffman, with 31. I think the powerplay will be better than its cellar dwelling status last season.

Beata: Mike Hoffman, with 30.

NKB: Mike Hoffman is going to have his career year this season and pot 37 after being freed from the chains of Pyatt + Pageau
