Senators Recall Buddy Robinson

The Ottawa Senators announce yet another call-up from the AHL affiliate in Binghamton.

The injuries keep on coming for the Senators, and in turn, so do the call-ups.

Ottawa announced today that they have recalled forward Buddy Robinson from their AHL affiliate in Binghamton.

Though the defense isn't the healthiest these days - Dion Phaneuf, Mark Borowiecki, Patrick Wiercioch and Marc Methot have all been missing in the past week - the Senators' forward corps are in need of some help. Mark Stone left practice earlier in the day - Dave Cameron said it was possibly the flu - Clarke MacArthur is still out and Kyle Turris has been shutdown.

Robinson has 13 goals and 9 assists in 59 games in the AHL, and is 11th in scoring on the team. He joins Binghamton teammates Nick Paul, Mike Kostka, Fredrik Claesson, Ryan Dzingel and Matt Puempel, who have been with the big club for some time already.

The Senators' next game is tomorrow night when they take on the Pittsburgh Penguins in the nation's capital. Puck drop is 7:30 p.m. ET.
