A look at all Senators to wear #91. No Senator has ever worn #90 (but Alex Chiasson will wear it in 2014-2015).

Alexandre Daigle C/R 1993-1994, 1994-1995, 1995-1996, 1996-1997

Born in Laval, Quebec in 1975, Daigle was drafted first overall by the Ottawa Senators in 1993 ahead of future superstars Chris Pronger and Paul Kariya. While Daigle suggested, "no one remembers number two" one suspects he didn't wish to be known as one of the biggest draft busts in history. Signed to a record rookie contract ($12.25M over five years), he had his best season in the NHL during his rookie year. The early years of his career were dogged by controversy, including being photographed wearing a nurse's uniform and being kicked off a flight while at the Pittsburgh International Airport for joking about a bomb on the plane. Constantly compared to Alexei Yashin, Daigle could not achieve the stardom of the Russian centre. The controversial player's second appearance in the series, Daigle switched to #9 from his customary #91 during his final season with the Sens. After playing for six NHL teams, Daigle went to Europe in 2006-2007 and spent four seasons with Davos and five seasons total in Switzerland. He last played professionally in 2009-2010.
