Impressions from Scrimmage

The subtitle could be Mark Stone and the Others. Stone was dominant as he quarterbacked the offence from the right side for a large part of the scrimmage. He show his great hands and his creative powers, scored twice and again in the Shootout.

I was very easy and gave guys a point for every good play they made, and then added up the score at the end. The most impressive dman was Ben Harpur, as nobody got near the net on his side, and he moved the puck well. He uses his big frame well. I look forward to see how he develops.

The fastest guy on the ice was Tobias Lindberg. The announcer needs Swedish lessons, as he destroyed his first name on the shootout announcement.

Lazar made some puck movement plays but his center Nick Paul was not in sync, so there was no finish.

Ceci made some nice plays, and was too individual for my liking. I also really liked the creativity of Ryan Dzingel who looks like a late round find.

The most disappointing performer was Dreidger who was a sieve for 3 goals.

All in all, the pace was pretty good.

Stone got the biggest cheer, followed closely by Ceci.
