Nucks Misconduct vs. Stanley Cup of Chowder

Complete Coverage >

Oh man, did I really just write that? Sorry to antagonize you, my Canadian friends... I can't help myself.

In all seriousness, the Canucks are up 2-0 on Boston by virtue of two very hard-fought wins. You have to believe if they get a 3-0 lead, they're not blowing it and going seven games. Yes, conventional wisdom says this Canucks team is a magically unstoppable hockey buzzsaw of enchanted adamantium-coated winning, unfazed by such trivialities as recent history.

What we have here, folks, is a true must-win for Boston. They haven't been blown out in either game so far, so there's no reason to think they can't win tonight. There's also no reason to think it's going to be easy. Vancouver is the best team in the NHL right now and they've shown an unforgivable killer instinct -- make a mistake and the puck is going in the back of your net.

It should be a fun game, so if you bothered to read this little blurb, you're now obligated to stop by in the comments and point out how dumb I am for picking Boston to win. Don't ignore your obligations!
