Silver Nuggets: Baby Sens routed; More on coaching candidates

With a chance to close out the series, the Binghamton Senators were routed 6-2 at home, with Robin Lehner allowing four goals in the first period and getting pulled. With the loss, Binghamton's record falls to 2-4 at home in the playoffs and now must win either game six or game seven, both being on the road. On the plus side, Binghamton has won their last five road playoff games and sport a 5-1 road record.

In the NHL playoffs, the top seeded Washington Capitals were pushed to the brink of elimination with a 4-3 loss in Tampa Bay. The Capitals are now down 3-0 in their series, and must win tonight to extend their season. The Vancouver Canucks, were extended to overtime again after another fluke Predators equaliser, but managed to pull it out in overtime as they won 3-2. The Canucks winning goal was however the result of a very bad penalty call.
