You may ask yourself, "How do I work this?" You may ask yourself, "Where is that goal-scoring winger?" You may tell yourself, "These are not my beautiful Senators!" You may tell yourself, "This is not my beautiful team!"

I can't help you with that.

But there's hockey tonight, and fresh off taking the defending champs to overtime -- before losing, of course -- the Sens are back home to take on their sister team, the Tampa Bay Lightning. Allow me to set the stage:

A tired Ottawa Senators team is returning home from an overtime loss against a Western Conference team they had to rally to steal a point from. Their opponent is young, fast, and rested -- and coming off a massive 8-1 drubbing from the Pittsburgh Penguins. Just last week we saw the same set of circumstances (except a different score in the opponent's loss) and the result was a compete dismantling at the hands of the Maple Leafs. Tampa Bay sits second in the Eastern Conference, so they might be just a bit better than Toronto was.

Say it with me: DUN DUN DUN!

Don't give up hope, though. There's a reason why the teams play the games.

Two to watch:

  • Steven Stamkos - Word on the street is that this guy might be good.
  • Robin Lehner - Meteorologists are saying there's 60% chance of shellacking tonight, so Lehner could get a chance to improve his numbers. Just kidding. He can't improve them. Maybe he'll comment on the officiating or something.

Two not to watch:

  • Alex Kovalev - He's been pretty bad lately. So you're just gonna get mad if you watch him. Don't say I didn't warn you.
  • Dominic Moore - The Bolts center is a Sergei Gonchar-topping minus 20 on the year. If he and the Ottawa defenseman get on the ice at the same time, it'll be like crossing the streams.

As always, your presence is required in the comments section. You're already reading this, so you might as well hang out!
