2010 Olympics open thread: Day 6
On tap today in Vancouver, I'm probably most excited for Canada taking on Sweden. The game should be the women's team's biggest challenge outside of the USA; Sweden is, you may recall, the only team aside from Canada to have beaten USA in an Olympic game, and they won the silver medal in the 2006 games.
I'll also be watching Alfredsson for Sweden, and may tune in to the Czech Republic game to see how Milan Michalek and Filip Kuba fare against the Slovakian team. Plus Jarkko Ruutu and the Finns are playing against Belarus.
