2010 Olympics open thread, day 14: Women's hockey gold medal game

Canada and the United States go head-to-head once again today, this time duking it out to determine who will be the women's hockey Olympic champion for 2010. Both teams swept their round-robin games and annihilated their opponents in the semi-finals; Canada finished the tournament with a goal differential of +44, while the USA finished with a +38 overall; each team allowed two goals total, each team had two shutouts. So, in summary, it will be a good game.

There are also going to be medals given out for the women's 4 x 5km cross-country relay, men's aerials skiing, nordic combined, and--perhaps more meaningful than anything else of the day--the ladies' free skate in figure skating, featuring Joannie Rochette. Plus some curling semi-finals, both men's and women's; should be another exciting day.
