Senators to meet Bruins in Round 1 (with full schedule)

I’ll take another chance to remind you the Sens swept the season series

With the Toronto Maple Leafs’ loss to the Columbus Blue Jackets earlier, playoff seeding is now determined. The Senators will meet the Boston Bruins in Round 1 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs, with Ottawa holding home ice advantage. This series should be interesting, since the Sens and Bruins have never met in the playoffs before despite being in the same division since the Sens came back into the league. It’s also not bad because the Sens swept the season series with three regulation wins and an Erik Karlsson-less shootout victory this past week.

We’ll have lots of coverage before the puck drops in Game 1 on Wednesday. Here is the full schedule for the first-round series:

Game 1 - Wednesday, April 12, 7 p.m. - Sportsnet, TVA, NHL Network
