Borowiecki, who wore the "C" on the Binghamton Senators this last 2012-13 season scored 4 goals and a total of 14 points in the AHL season is a key piece in the Ottawa Senators future. Borowiecki drafted late in the 5th round of the 2008 entry draft is clearly the toughest blueliner in the entire Senators organization, recording 18 penalty minutes in just 6 games with the Senators last season and leading Binghamton with 54 penalty minutes.
