I don't imagine he will make it to the Sens turn on the waiver wire, but if he does, the Sens could do far worse than Roman Hamrlik for D for the rest of the year.
-experienced veteran able to eat minutes and not look lost on the ice
-rectifying Senators history (WE were supposed to draft Roman, and have the Roman Senator, dangit!)
-UFA at the end of the season
-the Crapitals weren't starting him; don't know if that means he's too long in the tooth or that Oates didn't like him
-he's not as swift of foot as MacStache might like
