Couple of players i'd like to see the Sens go for are Guillaume Latendresse, Marc Methot and Jason Demers.
Latendresse seems to believe he's fully recovered, but the Wild won't probably give him a qualifying offer (according to an intervies in the StarTribune). There's some risk here, but i think he would fit well in Ottawa if he got his groove on. A player like Latendresse would fit El Moustachios system pretty well i think. Of course there's the whole issue with his injuries in the past, but a rebuilding franchise could really benefit for getting a guy with potential for cheap, injuries in the past or no. Worst case scenario: he's a depth player for a year or two.
Methot would be solid addition to the defence, a sort of player the Sens could really use. There was a post on Sens Chirp a while back that said the Sens might be pursuing him in the offseason. I think he would be a really good addition to the defence, the few Bluejackets games i watched last season he was solid.
Lastly, Demers. I heard Marek talking about the Sharks on the PuckDaddy podcast and he seemed to think that with Stuart coming in, Demers could be moved out of San Jose. He could fit the team, right handed shot and pretty decent offensive play would fit the second PP unit.
What do you guys think?
