I said it before, Anderson shouldn't have been rushed into action because he was 'ready' to play. I don't feel he has been the saviour most of the fans said he was this year. He was overall okay, very good at times and terrible at others. In my eyes, 2,85 GAA and .913 sv% (before the habs game) isn't great, it is ok.
Detroit being my second team (yes I love teams with netminders who have issues with their fingers), I was thinking about Jimmy Howard before/after his finger injury and it made me anxious about Anderson's return. Howard was absolutely sublime before he broke his finger and since his return, he has barely been decent.
How is it going to be for Andy? The thing is that we don't have time to discover the answer. Teams are burning our back and we can't afford Craig trying to find his game. Bishop has been regular as a clock and I think we should start him until he fails because right now, he's the one (Lehner: Of course, I'm out) who gives us the best chance to win.
Now I'm not saying that tonight loss was Andy's fault, our defense was horrible and there was not backcheck from the fowards early on. However, I think it's safe to say we had the right to expect a better outing from Anderson.
Overall what we need to get going is a spark on the offense and I don't see it coming from someone currently in the lineup.
